Arnold Hasty

Mr. Arnold Lamar Hasty, Sr., 78, of Senoia, passed away January 28, 2010. Mr. Hasty was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was the former mayor of Riverdale. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Alex Hasty and Bill Hasty. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Juanita Hasty; sons, Lamar Hasty and his wife Glenda of Fayetteville, Russel Hasty and his wife Pam of Tennessee and Bradley Hasty and his wife Aleyn of Senoia; six grandchildren; sister, Valmon Henson of Canton and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Burial will follow at Senoia City Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 29 from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.

My comfort and thoughts go out to Ms. Hasty and the family. At this time, losing someone may be the last thing in mind, and that is how others felt when Lazarus died. At Luke 23:43 it says," Truly I tell you today, you will be with me in Paradise," and this is what we can hope for and think about when we lose a loved one.
