CHILDREN OF THE WORLD WOULD BE VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE HAD CINDY AS A TEACHER.  EVER SINCE SHE WAS IN THE FIRST GRADE, SHE WANTED TO BE A TEACHER AND NEVER WAIVERED.

ALL THROUGH HER CHILDHOOD, CINDY COULD ATTRACT SMALL CROWDS OF CHILDREN WHEREVER SHE WENT. SHE WAS ONE OF THOSE SPECIAL TEACHERS WHO LOVED WHAT SHE DID AND TOOK GREAT PLEASURE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN.   DURING HER TEACHING CAREER, SHE WAS FREQUENTLY VOTED THE MOST OUTSTANDING TEACHER OF THE YEAR FOR HER SCHOOL.

IN ADDITION TO HER PROMINENCE AS A LOVING TEACHER, CINDY WAS A TRUE DAUGHTER OF HER ANGELIC MOTHER, GLORIA. HER PLEASING, UP-BEAT MANNER WAS COMBINED WITH A SWEETNESS OF PURPOSE WHICH LENT ITSELF EXCEEDINGLY WELL IN HER PROFESSION AS A HIGHLY INTELLEGENT EDUCATOR.

CINDY CONSIDERED MICHAEL, HER SON, TO BE HER GREATEST ACHEIVEMENT.   SHE TOOK GREAT PRIDE IN HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS, CHARACTER AND THE OUTSTANDING YOUNG MAN HE HAS BECOME.

FOR OVER TWO AND A HALF YEARS, CINDY WAS SERVED 24/7 BY HER LOVING HUSBAND, MARTY WHITEMAN,   NO ONE COULD HAVE SERVED HER BETTER. THEIR RELATIONSHIP WAS ONE OF TRUE LOVE- BEYOND COMPARE.   DURING THE DAYS OF HER STRUGGLE FOR LIFE, CINDY AND MARTY DAILY EXCHANGED LOVE LETTERS.

THE CHILDREN OF CLAYTON COUNTY AND CINDY’S FAMILY MEMBERS WILL ALWAYS HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE IN THEIR HEARTS FOR THIS DEVOTED, LOVING LADY.

To the family and friends of Mrs. Whiteman, my deepest sympathy and comfort goes to you during this time. All though I did not know Mrs. Cynthia, she sounds like a breath of fresh air and when we lose someone close like that, it can bring emotional suffering to us. For some comfort, the Bible says at Acts 24:15 that there will be a resurrection of righteous and unrighteous people so, we can have a hope to see dead loved ones again. Julian Clay on 1/31/2010 at 9:32 PM
