Marion Thelma Stroup

Mrs. Marion Thelma Stroup, 80, of Senoia, passed away on January 28, 2010. Mrs. Stroup is preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Roberts and her grandson, Michael Roberts. She is survived by her husband, Jack Stroup; sons, Bill Stroup of California and Chuck Stroup and his wife Karen of Sharpsburg; daughters, Charlotte Flores of Senoia and Sandy Scallion of Senoia; grandchildren, Christopher, Tammy, Kassi, Matthew, Brandon, Chandler; great-grandchildren, Jordon, Savannah, Brooke, Blake, Mikey and Kayden.

A graveside service will be on Monday, February 1, 2010 at 2:00 PM Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City. Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 31, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hemophilia of Georgia at (770) 518-8272 or www.hog.org or Scottish Rite Childrens Hospital.

My condolences go out to Mr.Stroup and the rest the family of Ms. Stroup. In our lifetimes, most of us experience the death of a loved one and other anxieties come with it such as sickness and stress from around us. There is something comforting that we have and that is the Bible. At Revelations 21:4 it says that soon there will be a time when we can see dead loved ones again and 'the former things... passed away.'
