T. Frank CoppageCOPPAGE, T. FRANK- age 78, of Senoia, GA, passed away at his home on Feb. 2, 2010. Frank was born in Brooks County, GA, on June 14, 1931, to Ivy and Katie Dixon Coppage. He graduated from Miami (FL) Edison High School in 1948, and served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard. He married Jackie Kay Duke on Feb. 22, 1957. Frank owned and operated a roof painting company in Miami, FL, and after moving to LaFayette, GA, in 1978, opened a building and supply store which he ran until his retirement in 1997. In 2005, Frank and Jackie moved to Senoia, GA, to be closer to their children and grandchildren. “Pop” to his 14 loving grandkids enjoyed working outdoors, especially when it came time to plant the garden. He is preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife Jackie, sons and daughters-in-law Ken and Donniece Coppage of Mobile, AL; David and Melissa Coppage of Peachtree City, GA; Joel and Leslie Coppage of Birmingham, AL; Jim and Jeni Coppage of Darien, GA; daughter and son-in-law Karen and Hal Massingill of Pueblo West, CO; and grandchildren Zach, Daryl, Nick, Casey, Kyle, Clay, Corey, Cale, Laura Claire, Michelle, Matt, Jake, Katherine and Lauren Leigh. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, Senoia, on Friday, Feb. 5, from 10:00 to 12:00. Family will also receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00 on Saturday, Feb. 6 at the Martin McLane Funeral Home, Hahira, GA, followed by a graveside service and interment at Camp Ground Cemetery, Mt. Zion Methodist Church, Morven, GA.
